Partial and Complete Dentures for Goderich and Kincardine

At Goderich and Kincardine Denture Clinics we wish to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible, whether we are creating a complete set of dentures or helping you to achieve a whiter, brighter smile. Greg Steele, DD, is able to provide you with professional advice in order to help you choose which type of denture best suits you and your lifestyle. Our services include:

Complete Dentures

Our complete dentures come in standardized sets or even premium sets. All of our dentures are custom-made to fit you and your lifestyle. We always ensure to go over all of your options to help you make the right decision.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture replaces one or more missing natural teeth and our partial dentures are customized to meet your individual needs. Partial dentures restore your natural appearance and greatly improve your ability to chew and speak clearly. Having a partial denture also prevents your natural teeth from moving. At the Goderich and Kincardine Denture Clinics we offer several different types of partial dentures, one of which is sure to be perfect you!

Acetal Flexible Partials

The Goderich and Kincardine Denture Clinics offer Acetal flexible partials. These partials are a new grade of rigid - elastic thermoplastic compound for aesthetic dental appliances and tooth shade clasps by injection molding systems. It combines flexibility, stability, comfort, durability, and excellent resistance to abrasion and impact. Benefits include:

  • Easy to polish and easy to clean
  • Bacteria- and stain-resistant
  • Offered in a variety of shades, allowing your smile to look more natural and less likely to see any metal clasps
  • Low water absorption and high colour stability
  • Free of biocompatible monomers

Relines

A reline consists of adding new base (pink) material to the tissue side of a denture to ensure a snug fit. Greg will need to take an intra-oral impression inside your existing denture to complete the reline. Relining affects only the fit of your denture and will not change the appearance or any wear of the denture teeth. Relines are required when tissue changes occur due to resorption (shrinkage) which can be due to:

  • Loss of weight
  • Loss of teeth
  • Loss of bone/tissue
  • Disease or illness

Teeth Whitening

Get a brighter, whiter smile! Teeth whitening is a simple and effective process that lightens the shade of enamel of your natural teeth. We create custom-made bleaching trays for you!

Sports Mouth Guards

Sports mouth guards are essential while playing any physical activity involving bodily impact. At the Goderich and Kincardine Denture Clinics we provide you with a custom-made mouth guard, which are known to be less bulky than the average. Play to win—protect your grin!

Soft Liners

A permanent soft liner is a layer of soft material that is fitted to the surface of a denture and rests next to the oral tissue. A soft liner acts as a cushion between the hard plastic base of a denture and your gums. Soft liners can be added during the fabrication of your new denture or to your existing denture. With soft liners, many denture wearers say they can chew food more comfortably.
